Day 279- Bedtime routine

Anna loves getting ready for bed. Mostly because it consists of her running around her room, and me trying to catch her and pin her down long enough to change her clothes. The being 6 months pregnant makes it a little hard to "chase" after her.

I do enjoy watching her just walk around, talking, doing her thing.

We love these hand-me-down pjs, from the Bergs!!

Day 278- O Christmas Tree

Dan trimming putting together the tree.

We decided for a lot of different reasons, mostly convenience and a good sale, to get a fake tree this year. Dan is doing his favorite thing in the world, stringing the lights!

Ornaments will have to come a different day, when Anna isn't home! ;)

I will definitely miss having a real tree, especially the smell, but I won't miss watering or cleaning up all those needles!

Day 275- Harry Potter

Dan and I went and saw Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, Part One. It was a really well done and I can't wait for the second to come out. Now it's time to read the book again, so remember what the movie left out!

Day 274- Advent by Candlelight

I attended an Advent by Candlelight service at an area WELS church. It was a wonderful evening and a great way to get ready for Advent and Christmas.

Day 272- Badger cheerleader!

Anna's first cheerleading uniform! It's still a little big, but she needed to wear it the day her Badger's pounded her Daddy's Wolverines!

"See Daddy, you should cheer for Wisconsin, not Michigan!"

*Thanks Aunt Jenni and Uncle Nathan for the hand-me-down!

Day 271- 23 Weeks

I did manage to get a belly shot last weekend before my camera died. Here's 23 weeks.

Day 264- 270 MIA

I know I've been MIA for a while. Not good for a daily blog. Things have been pretty busy for Dan lately, and when things get crazy for him, they tend to get crazy for me as well. Also, the batteries in my camera died and it was just one of those things that I never remembered to put on the grocery list. A few things that we've been up to this past week, that didn't get documented on film are: an area pastors chili dump get together, a delicious Thanksgiving meal at church, a healthy baby and mama check-up, a new big-girl car seat for Anna, gorgeous fall weather, a night when Dan didn't have to be anywhere, and a new set of cozy flannel sheets!

I don't know if I will be able to keep up the daily photo. Keeping up with Anna while she gets faster and more agile and I get bigger and slower is becoming more difficult. Also, many times I never remember to take my camera with me. I'll do my best, but I'm also not going to stress out over it. I will however try to remember something that I'm thankful for everyday. Thanks continuing to check in!

Day 263- Oreo face

I walked into our "Mother's Day Out" program yesterday to find Anna like this. Someone had given her first Oreo cookie. Needless to say, she enjoyed it! :)

Day 262- Caught red-handed!

This is one of Anna's favorite things to do when she wakes up.

Over the monitor you can hear the "bang, bang, bang" of the blinds.

Caught red handed!

Day 261- Dinner distraction

How to keep your toddler entertained while making dinner....

A dollop of coolwhip.

Only problem is the whining that happens when it's gone!

Day 260- The life of a pastor's wife

The life of a Pastor's wife can be a wonderful blessing. It can also be hard and unpredictable. Last night, I made this nice roasted chicken for supper, only to have Dan have to leave right before it was out of the oven to make a pastoral call. He was gone almost 3 hours. I don't know how to carve a chicken. I managed to get enough meat off for Anna to eat, but by that time I was done. The chicken did not appeal to me anymore, and I had a bowl of cereal. I wasn't really that upset about it... it wasn't something Dan had planned on. There are definitely more important things than a chicken. I am thankful for the the service to God my husband is doing and pray that God continues to give me strength and patience to support him in whatever way I can!

(It does look pretty good though, doesn't it?)

Day 257- Gorgeous fall day!

Today was a gorgeous fall day. It was actually cool enough for Anna to need a coat and gloves. We took advantage and headed to the park.

Anna still isn't too sure about the swing thing. She will tolerate it, but she would rather be walking around.

See? Much happier.

Of course he had to find something to put in her mouth.

It was a great fall day!

Day 257- Apple hat

My Aunt Cindy sent Anna this adorable apple hat.

Unfortunately, we are at the stage where Anna takes off everything that goes on her head.
