Day 71- Steak

Tonight we enjoyed some yummy steaks. Every year for Christmas, we get a box of Kansas City Steaks from some good friends of ours. They are sooo good!!

Day 70- An organized closet

Nothing feels better than cleaning and organizing a closet...




... at least when you are done.

We'll just ignore the fact that the rest of the room now look like this.

Day 68- Trash to treasure!

I picked this little shelf up at a thrift store. A little paint, and she's like brand new!

Day 67- Fun with Picasa!

Sometimes I need something to entertain me when Dan is watching baseball. I like baseball, but it gets a little tiresome when it's on EVERY night. (we have the baseball package through our cable and he gets EVERY MLB game) So tonight I had fun messing around on the program I use to organize my pictures. It's called Picasa. It completely free and run by google. I love it!! I made these fun collages. It's really very easy, too!

Day 66- Brats!

First brats of the season! Although they definitely weren't Johnsonville, and there was a big difference. Next time, Johnsonville for sure!

Day 65- Babies in overalls

I just don't think there's anything much cuter than a baby in overalls...

... especially this baby!

Day 62- New Trick

I think it's adorable when she kicks up her legs and plays with her feet. It's amazing what babies can make look cute!

Day 61- My little cupcake

Day 60- Let's go fly a kite!

Today Anna and I went to a kite festival with some friends from church. It was a beautiful day, and perfect for flying kites! "Let's go fly a kite...." The song from one of my favorite children's movies, Mary Poppins, ran through my head all day.

Day 59- Allergy relief

Because of our unusually cold and long winter here in Missouri, all the trees decided to bloom at once. This made the pollen count the highest it's ever been in Kansas City. All I can say is thank God for allergy medicine!!

Day 58- Good Care

Anna had her 6 month doctor's appointment today. I'm very thankful for her wonderful doctor who takes such great care of her. And although I don't like seeing her get shots, and she doesn't like getting them, I'm thankful for the vaccines that will keep this smiling girl healthy.

6 month stats: 13.3 pounds, 24 inches. She is still around the 10th percentile, but she is growing and healthy! Praise the Lord!

Day 57- Baby giggles

Anna thinks it's funny when I shake my head and say no. I hope this trend doesn't continue when she gets older... but for right now, I'm loving the baby giggles. :)
