Day 133- A "new" old chair

I FINALLY gave my little red chair a makeover. I've had this chair for as long as I can remember. I think it came from my grandma's house, so who knows how old it really is. Of course I forgot to take a before picture. You can see of little of it on the left side of this picture. It didn't look good to say the least.



It's amazing what a little paint, foam and fabric can do.

I love this fabric!

I think Anna is going to love sitting on this little chair someday!

Day 132- A great 5 dollar investment!

This little pool was only 5 dollars. I think it was worth every penny. Anna just loves to splash around in the water!

Day 131- 8 months later

8 months later...

Day 130- Sunday Night Softball

Every Sunday night, Dan plays with our church softball team. They aren't very good, but it's great fellowship and a way for Dan to somewhat relive his baseball days. Anna and I have been to a few games this year. Some are too late for us to go. This was last night after their first victory! Check out the sky in the background! The sunset was gorgeous last night.

 

Day 129- Tense

Dan LOVES the World Cup. He's been looking forward to it for a long time. Here are Dan and Anna watching the USA vs. Ghana.




To say things are a little tense in our house right now would be an understatement.

Day 128- Babysitting

Today, we have the privelage of babysitting two little girls from our church. The day was spent watching Beauty and the Beast, reading books, eating mac-n-cheese, and just having fun. Here is Zaley (5)modeling one of Anna's bows while her sister, Ava, (3) is the photographer. :)

Day 127- Nora Jane

Welcome to the world, Nora Jane Lauber! She was born on June 19th to my dear friends, Mike and Pam. She also has a proud older sister Natali.




After a little stay in the NICU, we are thankful that she is home and healthy! God's blessings to the Lauber family!

Day 126- "crawling"

Anna is still working on the crawling thing. Here is her version. She will do almost anything to get her hands on paper! She loves it!

Day 125- Bonding

This is how Dan and Anna bond. :) The noise in the background you hear is thunder. Seems like we have a thunderstorm almost every day!

Day 124- Jumping!

After many failed attempts to upload a video... I *think* I may have figured out how to do it a different way. Here's a video of Anna loving her jumper!

Day 123- Happy Father's Day!

I've said it once already, but I can't say it enough. I'm soo thankful that Anna has such a wonderful father.

Day 122- Chicken Pesto Pizza

Day 121- Spaghetti!

Anna had her first taste of spaghetti tonight. She liked it, alot! She by no means had a full serving, just a few bites, so she didn't get too messy. I still had to take the obligatory spaghetti picture!

Day 120- Lilies

Dan got me a bouquet of lilies for my birthday and anniversary. They are my favorite flower.

Day 119- June 16th, 2006

4 years ago today...

Day 118- 28 years

Even though Dan was gone today at district convention, I still had a great birthday. Anna and I met up with our friends, Jess and Barrett, in Topeka at a water park. We played in the water and then had a yummy dinner at Olive Garden.



Anna loved the water!!

I guess turning 28 wasn't too bad. Ask me how I feel in 2 years. ;)

Day 117- Rolling

Anna's been rolling all over the place lately. She ended up in the TV stand today and couldn't figure out how to get out! I have a feeling we'll need to do some more baby proofing soon!

Day 116- Church picnic

We had our church picnic today! We've been having scattered T-storms all day. Fortunatley, the rain held off for the few hours of our picnic. Unfortunately, a storm popped up right as we were beginning to clean up outside. Some of the men didn't make in before it started POURING.

Day 115- 8 months old!

Hard to believe it's been 8 months already since this wonderful blessing entered our lives. To say that I'm thankful for the past 8 months is a major understatement! 

Day 114- Happy Birthday, Emma!

Happy, happy birthday to my niece and god-daughter, Emma!! It's hard to believe that she is 8 years old already! If that makes me feel old, imagine how old my brother and sister-in-law feel! ;)
