Day 313- SNOW

Here comes some more snow!! They are predicting this to be the biggest storm yet, this year. It's not the most snow I've ever seen, but 10-13 inches is A LOT for Kansas City. Plus, today we are having some freezing drizzle, which adds to the fun. School are being let out early today and have already cancelled for tomorrow. I'm sure they will be out on Wednesday and I wouldn't be surprised if they are out on Thursday and Friday as well. Time to go grocery shopping (yuck) and stock up!

Day 312- 33 Weeks

33 Weeks

Someone at church this past Sunday told me I look like I could go at anytime. I have 6 weeks until my delivery date, 7 weeks until I would reach 40 weeks. I'm not sure where this baby is going to go. It's hard to imagine getting any bigger, but I know it's possible. I'm definitely starting to feel the strain. I'm praying for these next 6 weeks to fly by!

Day 311- Dan

Dan is away at conference for three days. Taking care of Anna by myself (especially, when I'm 8 months pregnant) really make me appreciate the wonderful husband and father that he is. Hurry home, Dan!

Day 310- SUPERBOWL

I don't think I need to say much about this picture. I am sad I will miss all the excitement in Wisconsin for the next two weeks, but I'm happy that I will get to see a lot of coverage about the Packers!

Day 309- March 7th!!

The date has been set. 47 days (holy crap) from now, we will be meeting the newest member of our family!

Day 308- 32 Weeks

Day 307- Date night!

Dan and I had a date last night! We wanted to do something, just the two of us, before the new baby arrives. Anna spent the ENTIRE night at some friends house. Dan I went out to a nice dinner. The food was soo good and the portions were unbelievable. I think I ate a 1/4 of mine.



Then we went and saw Shrek: The Musical. It was really good. Funny and entertaining for kids and adults.

We topped the night off wiht some good 'ol Culver's custard. This morning we got sleep in! Then spent the rest of the day trying to get things moved around and organized to make room for the new baby. Anna did great at her first sleepover, and we are very thankful for wonderful friends who offered to take her overnight!

Day 306- Fun with Dad!

I loved hearing these giggles as I was making dinner tonight. Of course no one can make Anna laugh like Dan!

Day 305- Happy Birthday, Chloe!

Day 304- A new van!

It's a brand new car Van! (I couldn't help but think of the Price is Right when I typed that) Yesterday, we became a two vehicle family once again. (Thank God!) It's been almost two years of trying to coordinate with each other and one car. With baby number 2 almost here, it was time to get a bigger vehicle. Our small Ford focus is cramped with one car seat. Two would have been too much, especially for our long trips to Wisconsin and Michigan. Even though there are some nice crossovers out there, we knew we would love the space of a mini-van. Dan saw a great deal on this new 2010 Dodge Grand Caravan, so we jumped on it and bought it yesterday. We didn't realize how big of an ordeal buying a new car is until we were at the dealership for almost 5 hours. But, we are happy with our decision, and very grateful that we are blessed with such an awesome van!




Seriously, I LOVE it.

Day 303- Fire

Snowy night... perfect for a cozy fire in our fireplace!

Day 302- Snow!

We finally have more than a dusting of snow! It started snowing late last night/early morning. It is supposed to continue all day.

The weathermen are predicting 5-7 inches, which is quite a lot for Lee's Summit. Of course all the school are closed and things will be a mess for a while (at least until it melts!).

Day 301- 31 Weeks

Day 300- Girls night in

Dan went to an amateur hockey game with a couple teens from church, so I used that opportunity to rent a chick flick and drink some yummy hot chocolate. This is some of the best homemade hot chocolate I've ever had! (Probably helps that I made it with milk instead of water.)

Day 299- Glucose- yuck!

About a month ago I had to drink this lovely glucose before my doctors appointment to test if I had gestational diabetes. This stuff is nasty! SOO sweet. Unfortunately, I failed that test and had to do a three hour blood draw and drink this stuff, again. Thankfully, I passed that time. I just wish there was a better way to test!

Day 297- Packers in the Playoffs!

Day 296- Rose Bowl

Happy New Year!! We had fun cheering on the Badgers in the Rose Bowl. Even if they lost, it was fun to be "reunited" with my Wisconsin fans across the miles!

Day 295- Berg visit

The Bergs came to visit from Wisconsin!
