Day 101- Biter Biscuit

Anna had her first Biter Biscuit today. It's basically like a graham cracker stick that dissolves easily for babies. She loved it! Thank goodness it is bath night! :)

If you look closely, you can see one of her top teeth!

Day 100- Cute ruffles

Gotta love cute ruffles on a baby's butt! ;)

Day 99- Saved memories

I've been looking forever for this kind of scrapbook and just happen to stumble upon this one for $10 at TJMaxx the other day. (I love when that happens!) I wanted one that didn't have any plastic coverings or sticky sides.

I put her name in some cute letters on the cover. I was able to tape all of the cards that I recieved from my baby showers and the many we recieved after Anna was born, inside.

I also have some pages left over for more cards, and other special things that won't fit in her baby book, like her first baseball game certificate. It feels soo good to get them put away in a safe place and something nicer than a shoebox!

Day 98-MDO

We celebrated our last MDO (mother's day out) for the year with a yummy breakfast. Every Wednesday, a group of moms takes turns watching each others kids for the day. It been wonderful to be able to drop Anna off at church once a week so I can get some things done or run some errands without having to worry about her. Another wonderful blessing from my church!!

Day 96- A crawler?

We've got a roller! Anna has been content to just roll from her tummy to back for months. She's been flirting with rolling from her back to tummy for months too, but just never quite would make it. I think partly because she was perfectly content to be on her back. Until this week. Suddenly, she's learned how to roll from back to tummy, and has been all over the place! I really didn't know if she would be a crawler, (before walking), because she never would be on her tummy for long and then -flip- on her back. Now I don't know... I could have a crawler on my hands after all. Here is some of her progression today as I sat in the chair and watched.

She started in the middle of the blanket.

And then head toward the mantle...

... made it!

Then did this for about 10 minutes.

Day 95- AC

The last few days I've been VERY thankful for this little box.

Summer has arrived in Missouri and I'm not a huge fan of the heat and humidity. I'm especially grateful for our AC after growing up in a home where the only place to cool off was the basement. ;)

I don't know how this little guy got up there, but we found him on our deck tonight!

Day 91- A call to serve

Today, I am thanking God for blessing my dear friends, Josh, Rachel and Josiah Olson, with a call to serve him in Michigan. I know the Lord will use the three of them as a great blessing to their congregation. Congratulations and have fun packing, Rach! ;)

Day 89- Anna's new hat

Dan put his (gross) hat on Anna last night. She looked soo cute!

Then it fell over her face and she couldn't get it off. It was pretty funny.

She had fun playing peek-a-boo with Dad.

I made sure she never put it in her mouth. Yuck! :)
